About Grind & Seal
Grind and Seal is a method for polishing concrete that involves grinding down the top layer to reveal as much or as little of the stone underneath as you like. Some people prefer a lot of stone exposure, while others want just a hint of it—it’s all about your personal taste.
After grinding the concrete to the desired level, we use finer diamonds to smooth out any visible scratches and create a flat surface. If you want a super smooth, glass-like finish, we can add grout. For a full stone exposure look, grouting is always included. If you only want minimal or random stone exposure, adding grout is optional and comes at an extra cost.
Finally, we apply a protective sealer to the floor. You can choose from a matte, semi-gloss, or high-gloss finish based on your preference.
